Painting: The joy is in the process

I came to painting latish in life and have found in it an unexpected passion. And thanks to some wonderful teachers, I'm continuing to learn all the time. With nature as my main inspiration I might end up with a painting that’s representational — or something far more abstract. For me, the joy is in the process, and the result can often be a surprise.

My principal medium is acrylics, which I find fun and versatile to work in, but at times I also "play" with pastels.

I am a member of Arts Morin-Heights and participate in this group's annual exhibition.
